I know this is a strange request, but does anyone have any old black plastic spray can tops, preferrably with no embossed printing on the top? I need four of them to use in place of the center caps of my aftermarket wheels. (Can be seen Here.) The factory center caps for the wheels press in from the outside and they'll just get stolen. ($20+ to replace, each.) I discovered that these spray can tops (2 1/2 inches across) are a perfect fit from the inside of the wheels. The top of the cap shows from the outside of the wheel and it looks great. Much better than seeing the bearing grease cover in the front or the large nut in the back if no wheel center caps are used at all. I just don't happen to use a lot of spray cans, so I don't have enough spray can tops to go around. So, if anyone in the Vancouver area has any they want to get rid of, just post here and let me know. Or if you're aware of any place to pick some of these caps up from, please let me know as well. Thanks. Edited by Patrick |

Still looking for some black spray can tops. If anyone going to either the tech session this Saturday or the club meeting that night has some they don't need, I'd love to have them. This is what the center of my wheels look like now. The arrow is pointing at the lip which would retain a spray can top.
And this is what I'd like the center of my wheels to look like after I'm done messing about.
Or from a distance...
What do you think? Wouldn't look too bad, eh? Edited by Patrick |

I should've brought this thread to the top yesterday, but if anyone has any old black plastic spray can tops, preferrably with no embossed printing on the top, I'm still looking for some. Bring 'em to the meeting tonight. Thanks.
