Aw, shucks. But still, I'm curious. If I bought the frame to a car and sculpted my own panels and interior from scratch, could that be made into a legal car? |

Oh. That way I get more moneys if it gets stolen? And it sounds like Hugh did EXACTLY what I want to do. But how'd he manage to rack up $? Did he buy mostly new parts? Or was he hitting up junkyards and craigslist? Because there's not a snowball's chance in hell I'll be able to afford that... lol

Oh, I just finished reading that one. Yeah, he does have a brand new 383 with a six-speed on it, those two parts alone would've have set him back close to $20000, probably even more. Thanks for the link though. =D

I know its kinda late, but i just bought one of these, same color and trim. i could use a pasenger side outer door panel, mirror, nose , various trim parts, if current owners (im not sure from the string what all parts went where) want to part with any of this stuff, drop me a line. My engine is also apart, and i need a cylinder head, as previous owner does not seem to be producing that as promised, plus most of the intake plenum mounting screws. is the mill being parted out? complete engine?
