tail light fuse keeps blowing

84 fiero 2.5 auto.
keeps blowing tail light illumination fuse
I unplugged light in trunk area in rear
and that made it worse when I tried to put a
fuse in after unplugging that light
it started smoking and sparking I plugged it back in
its just blows the fuse I woke up this morning
to go to work went to put a fuse in it the damn
thing started smoking and sparking the light plugged in still pllz idk whats going on HELPPP!
THIS DAMN CAR!!!!

Unplug all the lights on that circuit and find where the short is. Could be a bad bulb, could be the wiring harness itself shorting out.

I feel stupid. arggh I took apart everything still was sparking and smoking. I was stumped then looked inside my lighter port there was a damn dime jammed in it. pulled it out and it works fine no probloms. ITS ALWAYS SOMTHING SIMPLE haha

Good thing your fuses were doing their job. I hear that Fieros catch fire.
