I replied to the ad last night but did not get a reply. I suspect that something is not right with that ad.

I replied several times and then looked at the Craigslist
ad just now and the car is up to $1000???
So I tried again just now.
This person says they need the car gone by the 11th so
there really is only one day to be able to arrange to pick
it up???
If there isn't a response this time I would say it is a
hoax.

On another note.
I am trying to finish my restoration of the Silver 85 GT
Notchy for the up coming meeting and PPCC. (Saturday and
Sunday respectfully).
I just realized (after putting the engine into the car late
last night, that the water pump I received had a tube
delete plug put in it instead of the tube that the 1985
2.8s use so, I am in immediate need of this tube if anyone
has an old water pump sitting around (the part is threaded
in).
Please contact me through the forum as soon as possible if
you have one.

I'm sure it's a standard NTP pipe thread--1/2" comes to mind.
At the local Auto parts store should have one,Take the plug
Out an take it with you,it should have a --3/8" SQ hole that
Fits the end of your Rachet, good luck

An yea I see it's reposted at $1000

Thanks Artic-1, I pulled the plug out and am going to
Lordco to start since that's where the original pump came
from. The plug needed a 6 sided #10 solid brake tool (like
a torks but flat sides).
I am going to get this tube today.URGH

On the other hand, I am still hoping to get the car going
this week..Thanks Ken.

I asked if it was a std or auto. Simple
question which you would think would get a
response, but nothing. Hoax? Maybe.

Seeing this car (and others) keep showing up that are 'too good to
be true', along with too good to be true deals on Mac Mini's - I was
saying to Jim the other day that I think it's some kind of code
amongst drug dealers.

They can post freely online this way... Mr X post a certain car for a
certain amount. Dealer Y sees that, and knows he's selling a key of
coke for that much. Or it's a computer, and it's a pound of weed
for that much (etc).

Just a thought anyhow!

Just wanted to thank Glen for the lending me the tube I
need for my water pump.
After wasting at least a day going through several
suppliers, bringing in several pumps (even though the
pictures show the tubes in place), each pump came in with a
delete plug and no tube??

I sent 4 e-mails and never heard back, but now it's showing up as sold. I
made a solid offer on it too. Also, what's this about a meet this
weekend? I'm looking for an '88
