Yup so my check engine light comes on when I'm either just
sitting after I've been driving for a while... Or while I'm
going down the high way it comes on. My oil pressure when I
see the light come on is at about 40. Do you think that's
what it causing it or what? Nothing sounds out of the
normal.

Likely, your EGR tube has worn or cracked. It's kind of hard to get a new one nowadays. I took it into a trusted shop to have a look in order for my car to pass aircare and he told me to pull the bulb. The light comes on but actual measured emissions is not enough to fail aircare.

It only comes on while on the highway for awhile or you've been idling in rush hour for a bit. Turn off the car, let it cool down, turn your car back on, and the light is off.

It's annoying.

IF it's an EGR fault, you can fake out the ECM by shorting the contacts in the
EGR solenoid's switch.

It's not right. But it's an easy quick temporary fix.

Top two are the ones to cross. Makes the ECM think the solenoid is always
active.
