I need a version of Windows XP to load up onto my wife's
computer. She finds it much easier to use than Windows 7 (which I recently put on her computer only to find that I don't have a spare of the XP which she was previously using!) Will purchase or borrow and I am willing to pay reasonable $$$. Would prefer a later version with all updates. PM me. Thanks "Shakey" Dave Hathaway |

Dave,
If you have your own license key, I can lend you my disk. I have a late version of WinXP but my license is maxed out. I have XP on my desktop (for business so the license key is registered) and virtualized on 2 macs and 1 linux machine. I think once you go to Win 7,you shouldn't go back. Win 8 is a much more drastic change. Win 7, for me anyways, has been quite stable. Most of the software you had that ran on XP will still upgrade to run on Win 7. I have had to get new software for much of Win 8. |
