We had a good turnout today with eight Fieros plus the "civic crew" as Luke calls his buddies.

Our fine Fieros drew lots of attention from many people, although one young woman who walked up to have a closer look thought they were all 300ZX's.

We waited quite awhile for Angela to return to the shop so Blair could lead us through the back country. However, she never did return. Rumour has it she ran off with a biker gang.

So unfortunately Blair wasn't able to lead the charge after all. What he ended up doing instead was plugging the route he had planned into one of Luke's buddy's GPS units. (Our thanks to Blair for doing that.) We therefore ended up being led on our high-speed trek through the countryside by a Honda Civic.

Anyway, it was a blast. I'm positive there's no carbon build-up left in my engine after that. I witnessed at least one club member (who shall remain nameless) lock up his brakes in a corner.

Thanks to everyone who turned out. I think we'd all agree it was great fun!

Johnny baby, thanks for taking the pictures.  Any chance you took a picture of the old Pontiac that the hood emblem (great shot!) was on? If so, let's have a look. It's the great-great-grandfather of our little Fieros!

Well dang it John, you didn't get a shot of the whole car?

Oh well, at least this shot shows enough to indicate this was not an old Pontiac for the "faint of heart".

Pfft. It's not the size of the blower that counts...

Heh heh, lucky for you I don't have a dash mount for my camcorder!

I'm going to have to rig something up though, 'cause I can see that shooting video under those circumstances could result in some interesting footage!

I thought that happened in the sixth grade with Becky-Sue.

Or was it six weeks ago with Becky and Sue?

But just for the record, never been with anyone named Becky or Sue.
