October meeting reminder Saturday Oct 13

This coming weekend is the October meeting. Saturday October 13th.

Usual place and time, 6:00 Saturday at Ricky's in Langley off 204 and
88. North
side of hwy1.

I plan on being there this time with my Fiero, hope to see more of you
out as well.

Note Meeting time is 6pm not 6:30.

This will probably be the last meeting I have my 88GT for a while, as I hope to have my 857GT back from FOY Racing for the November meeting. Lisa�s Due date just happens to fall on the same day as the meeting, Nov 10^th so it might be cutting it close for us to be there. So the birth of our 2^nd daughter might keep us from attending.

Ok we need to get our buts in gear and decide on If/How/When to do a Christmas Party this year with Gift Exchange. Instead of tying it to the club meeting I think a separate date and time will work better. I am thinking a pub or lounge might be the best location. That way many of us that are working hard on Christmas Shopping can stop and take a break have a few drinks and relax. As always funds permitting the club will be buying the appys.

Should we do a Christmas lights drive? Also getting ready for the Food Drive might be a great idea? Last year it kinda got glossed over with so much going on.

Do we want to do anything for Halloween?

Shouldn't this be in a December Post? Yes the meeting will be going on this Saturday, Lisa and I will be there with the new baby. I am still a little sluggish, got out of the Hospital on the 11th of November but been on Morphine and Antibiotics and Steroids ever since and had to promise to stay in bed. The last few chest x-rays have shown improvement as well.

I can't say I'll be up for planning any form of Christmas party this year and Lisa is so busy with the new baby that we are going to have to play it by ear. Maybe save the club Christmas funds and doing a spring fling of sorts. If I get the energy up I'll post a proper meeting reminder to the club list and a new forum thread. Unless someone else wants to volunteer?

	Plan on being there with my fiero 3400 finaly done.I was out on sunday and monday driving around with it and ran great and no problems.Tino
