As June is Bike month the police are giving a one month grace period where they are only issuing warnings. After that tickets will be handed out. Cops are cracking down on Cyclists that are not obeying the laws.
Such things as no helmets, not stopping at a stop sign, ridding on a sidewalk, etc. This should be interesting to see what comes of this. Do they really have the man power and time to try to make cyclists more aware of the laws ? |

Perhaps this is the plan to get gun-toting gangsters off the streets... wait until they ride their bikes on the sidewalk and then nab them. |
