If this car was any other car, even a Fastback car, it would have been bound for the scrap yard. However it was an 88 T-Top and extremely low miles. However it had a really hard life, from what Artic told me, when he found it, it was home to a family of raccoons. It had been vandalized horribly, this is the beginning of the restoration of this car.

He has sent me video's of him now driving the car around. The engine being so low miles was perfect. He had to drop the tank to fix a broken hose inside the tank. However after that it was just a matter of cleaning what could be cleaned and replacing what could not be cleaned.

Well there's bin a lot of interesting facts about this TTop
So here's a True story on how I ended up with an 88/TTop
For $5 I started with.
===4 years a go I bought a hi/end car deck from the thrift for $5 that needed a plug, had one
I then traded the deck for a new mini bike that wasn't running, i had one just like it all reddy so i had parts for it,i then got one complt running, played around with it then stuffed it in my garden shed an I had for over 3 years an rode all of? 3 times,Fast Fwd to know-2014 an the 88/T Top
The guy wanted $500 for the Fiero so I lo/balls @$50'Yea right!!!!!!
good luck with that!!,i then called him an haggle on price an time
we didn,t settle on $50,but next to nothing and i threw in X2 mini bikes, never thought it would happin!got less then $500 in it now.
An it runs real nice, after a few parts.$200 an major clean out-R/R
I will have a nice 88 Fiero TTop in the end i hope.An Dave, youve bin a big help to me in pointing out a few KEY! things, after that i decided maby keep this fiero.it sat for 5 days with a good battery in it,in my drive way this last week i didnt start it,went out Sat morning an turned the key an she fired right up,at that point i guess i decided iam keeping her.ive got the 86 GT i bought from Glen a few years back,it will become the donor car.know its time i need.an as for the seals for the TTop,all reddy found a replacement.wasn,t to hard to find.
Its the drivers seat i dont have, the ones ive got is a little rougf.
ill keep you all posted as we go.

Joe, I'm not sure what to make of the odometer readings, but here's some history on your '88.

That mileage break down does not make any sense at all. Seems like some typo's to me. Like in 99 they forgot the 1, as it should be 123, then in 2000 it should have been 133 and they got 303,000. Up until 99 the mileage seems correct, then it just went wacko. I would take the paperwork down to Aircare and have them fix it before it shuts down. I suspect the website will be left up even after the Aircare program has shut down, however you won't be able to get the information changed when the doors are closed.

Wack-O is right, talked to my lo/cal ICBC agent an she did the run down
on the VIN--Dave it right it's a mistake on Aircares part, but it won't
effect the state of the car.the mileage can be varafied at the time I
decide to insure it by ICBC.--Take it in an they look at it an varafied
the Odometer is correct.an there's a Fee$$ for Aircares mistake!!
$18 an they fix everything. Thanks again Aircare!!---

You're missing a few additional parameters, I think.
