WTD Dead 88 Front Wheel Bearing

   While chatting with a machinist buddy of mine and discussing how the 88 Bearings are nearly impossible to find and are $450 for a set, he said that sounded insane.   He would like a dead bearing to play with.  See if it might be possible to break apart a dead bearing, machine it out and create an insert / cartridge type sealed bearing into the 88 housing.
