I was in need of a new battery for the SS10 (old one would hold a charge for nearly 2 min's after taking the charger off, but figured WTF, lets get a new one...).

Was just about to run down to Lordco to grab a new Delco (probably be $100 by the time I was out the door) - then I ran past a sign for a place called "Phil's batteries and more".  Hmmm...  let's take a look!

Well, got a group 78 (800 CCA) dual terminal refurbed one - $44.95, $50.35 out the door!

They have all sorts of batteries there too.  Small SLA ones that you might use in a UPS or alarm or security light, big ones, small ones, right down to like a 2025 watch battery.

They're a little weird to find, as they're on the backside of a complex which is off a side road (?!).  Trust me - you'd never just 'happen to drive past them'.

Do they have Bat-Caps in there? Because I really want the eight pound Bat-Cap. EIGHT POUNDS!

Romeo its a discount place, that would be like looking for a Brand New Ferrari at Joes Discount Used Cars.

If you want that batt cap, you are going to have to pay big bucks and order it Online.  However if you do get one, I would really like to see one in person and just see how much cranking duration it can put out.  Newer cars start really fast even from ice cold and always start the first time, our older cars that can take 2-3 seconds of crank time and in some cases a 2nd crank those caps kinda worry me.
