I know it sounds odd, but the next time someone parts out a Fiero, could they keep the frame so I can haul it home and go nuts? I'd pay anything reasonable. =)

Just beware if you use an 88 Frame, you are going to need the rare and expensive 88 Suspension parts when you go to rebuild the car.

Were I using it to make a kit car, I could probably play around with the frame to get another car's suspension to fit. With any luck.

Well, if I clean out that bloody garage, I'll probably try making a few iteration of a 1/16 model of what I have in mind, and try it in the world's most pathetic wind-tunnel (Clear tubing on the exhaust outlet of a vacuum cleaner, with an incent in front of the model). After that, I'll see if I can find a way to make a larger table, for hoods, body panels and possibly even the dash. Then I hope to fabricate only the necessities from there on, everything else I'll try and steal from donor cars or junkyards. As for the thermoplastics, I'll probably stick to fibreglass, it's about the only stuff I've ever played with. And a vacuum forming table can be made (relatively) cheap, I'll PM you how if you want to know later. PS, does anyone know if there's such a thing as clear fibreglass?
