An I4, 3-speed for 150% what I paid for my V6, 4-Speed?

And that's over-looking the 13" steels vs 15" alloys, notchback vs fastback and 282K vs 110K on the odometers. lol

See, now that's a different story. What kind of internals are you running?

Well, exemption being the Isuzu 5-Speed.

Isuzu is stock. Now a Getrag matched with a Iron Duke would be an exemption.

And yes.. it's all stock. Still a fun car, but if I really have a need for speed I just bust out the Interceptor. There is nothing like playing with a Corvette like it's a little mouse. Well I mean I can have fun with anything that can't make 0-60mph in under 4s. And all with 40+mpg!

Ahhhh, just wait until I finish putting my 2 wheel toy back together.
Old iron at '84, but....  0-60mph in 2.1 out of the factory.

I actully did mention it to the lady, that I had turned down 85 4cyl cars for free, as the cost of towing (about 200) was more than what I felt the car is really worth.   I had also turned down, running decent shape ones for under $500.

Its not that they are bad cars.  However most people that are buying Fieros want the top of the line cars and even the guys that want something to mod, usually start with something that has a V6 in and the better GT suspension to start with.       (85-87GT's and some SE V6's had stiffer springs, stiffer shocks and a other little mod.

For those that don't know, there are Fiero's with the WS6 suspension package just like the WS6 Firebirds, Trans and Corvette.    They were a Fiero only setup.   So if you go and find the RPO code for WS6 you had the best suspension you could get for your "model year"

Ok.. what do you have?! 2.1s is crazy fast.

The stock specs on the 2009 GSX-R 1300cc are 2.75s 0-60mph with a pro driver that hasn't eaten in a week.. lol *you get my point* And that's pushing the edge. Anything faster than that with a stock frame and the bike would very literally flip it's self over. To get under that you'd need a stretched frame etc, etc, etc, etc.

http://www.allpar.com/cars/concepts/tomahawk.html - This sucker is only doing 2.5s 0-60mph.

I think the stock for my bike is 0-60mph in 3.7s. This bike is not stock by any means.. but I doubt it would dip into the 2's even with my Z-Rated Pirelli rubber, engine mods and gearing.

How do you even maintain traction for 2.1s with an 84 anything?

Well, the first trick....  is to not read the spec for about 8 years.
Then let old age creep in, and fog the memory....  Go back and re-read it, and you get:

FJ1100L/LC
50H / 47M
'84-'85

Maximum Torque

8.9 kg*m
(64.4 lb*ft)
@ 8,000 rpm

Maximum HorsePower

(102.21 hp)
@ 9,000 rpm

1/4 Mile

10.7 sec
@ 125.34 mph

0-60 mph

3.04 sec

Roll-On: 45-70
3rd Gear

2.88 sec
@ 247 ft

Roll-On: 45-70
4th Gear

3.68 sec
@ 327 ft

Roll-On: 45-70
5th Gear

4.48 sec
@ 392 ft

Still not bad for something that can now get collector plates.
(oh, and although stock in appearance, mine isn't stock either)

Yeah, I read that too and I was like 2.1 seconds? Is he driving a drag bike? lol
