So what's the problem then?
What's the "disaster" you're referring to? Doesn't the car run?

OK First question, what engine is in the car? as many of the plugs and the ECM are not stock. Not even close. As for the alarm, I can't help you without being there with a meter. You are going to have to find the detailed wiring info for that alarm and start tracing where which wires go. Heck you will also need to find out what options were installed with the alarm.

no.... it needs new spark plugs, im trying to take out the alarm system because it does not work., the other thing is that there are tonns of other wires cut. important or not i have no clue what any of them are... i guess you need to see it to know what needs to be done. but like seeing other pics of what should be under the steering column and under the console or anything like what can i rip out, it has no sound sytem at all it was broken in to and i dont need one thats on the bottom of my list to get done.......

The only you NEED to find out is if the "crank" wire Large purple wire in the harness has not been CUT for the alarm starter disable. Everything else that is hooked to the alarm can be removed. The large purple wire goes all the way from the large bulkhead connector between the seats, down the center coulomb, then snakes over to the clutch pedal. I believe the other side of the clutch pedal is yellow as it goes up to the steering coulomb.
That single wire is the one that normally gets cut for a starter kill. If it has an ignition kill, you'll have to look it up.
Again though, what engine is in there? Does it by chance have a 3.1 with Aluminum heads?

So you bought this Fiero without seeing it run?
Whose diagnosis determined it just needs spark plugs to run properly, yours or the previous owner's?

I'd take "his" diagnosis with a grain of salt.
Seeing all those cut wires and hearing that the car now doesn't run... not good.

oh heh that was when i was skiing, my boots were done up to tight and i got "black toe" as some mountan climbers call it and no its just a bruse it didnt hurt that much at all, ok so the purple wire can NOT be cut right, it is fine. but the rest i can rip out... but the thing is i dont want to rip the rest out because theres a big knot and i dont know what else is in there..

Yeah, it makes reading the posts pretty difficult when it becomes necessary to scroll back and forth and back and forth from side to side to read every line of text.

since you have seen the pics, i guess we can just wait till were on page 2... unless i could delete the pics and thenit would be normal but that defets the purpose of the questsion...

No, don't bother deleting them.
It has been my experience in many forums that posting images no wider than 800 pixels works best within the confines of a thread.
I use http://www.irfanview.com/ - IrfanView to quickly resize my images. Works great.

Maybe http://fierowiki.com/site/index.php?page=downloads&type=misc&id=3&root=1&keep_theme=FieroWiki_com&keep_session=2116052414 - Here , not sure.
Google is your friend. I know Fiero wiring diagrams are available for download somewhere. Heck, David has them on his server, I'm sure.

OK yes I have seen the car, the rear window decal is what gives it away.
Now here is where it gets interesting, if the motor is not stock, the ECM is not stock, and if the builder didn't bother to remove the un-needed wiring, you may have dozens of wires that are not hooked up, because they are not needed. You need to post up an engine bay pic, so the tech people on here can find out what motor you actually have in the car to help you find out what wires are what.
At one time it belonged to a bigger fella in Abbtosford. That was nearly 6 years ago, so it may have changed hands several times and I believe it had a stock V6 in it at that time, so the motor swap must have been done at a later date.

ya I've heard that this car has gotten around. i know the 2 previous owners, Tyler and jeff. none with too much mechanical ability so i got alot to do on it, new e brake cable, new gas cable, new struts, new spark plugs and do some welding on of new metal where it has rusted out and then i can remove the hoses from the hydrolics and its set to be saftyed... im just trying to clean it up from all these wires. i like my stuff simple.

Oh. My. God.
Sorry, but that's just a serious rats nest. I'd be inclined to try to remove every last little bit of aftermarket anything, then restore it back to original and work outwards from there. At least you know what you're up against then.
If that was the best you could find in wpg there.... I think I know where I'll advertise my very close to all stock restored '86 GT!

If the engine is out of a Z24 (and is a V6) it is either the 2.8 (86-89) or 3.1 (90-94). Either of those engines would have the 7730 ECM, which is very close to the stock ECM in the Fiero. With only a little modification, the original wiring can be used. In fact, the stock plugs work if you just witch a few wires. I don't know why they would leave such a mess with so many cut wires.
Dave is right, you need to clean it up and get to the basics and remove anything that isn't nessesary. I know a bit about J-Bodies and might be able to help if we knew for sure what motor it is with a few pics.

its a 3.1 and i am trying to semove everything that can be.. its jut the previous-previous owner put in a bunch of useless sh*t like a dvd player when it really could have used other stuff you know.
ya trust me finding fieros for sale in winnipeg is insane... there all notch backs v4 auto. so i tryed to snap up the first one. it sold, then the second one that came up next was like 2 months later... and thats what i have now.
some gts are selling for like 4000 here non saftied. no joke check kijiji, it says 4000 invested in "parts" and still needs paint so like a new transmission that he just put mark up on because he spent like 1000 on the transmission.
theres also one for 800... well its a piece of sh*t (i saw it) its in woerse condition than mine and the 1000$ one i dont know about but its been there for a long time so there must be somthing wrong with it.
my friend got his gt from regina...
i just guess its a waiting game for a good one.

... or train a few million of Winnipeg's finest mosquitoes to pick it up and fly your Fiero out west to BC where we can all take a look at it.
I have no further advice, but I just wanted to add how nice it is that I can now read this thread (page 2 anyway) without scrolling back and forth and back and forth from side to side to read it.
