Hey guys, just trying to get a a rough estimate on who's going, who wants to go but don't know if they can yet, and who wont be going. I know that Nigel's busy, and Clynt too had other plans. Tim and I have both confirmed. Please let me know as soon as you can, gives me a rough idea on where to meet up and how many people we'll need to wait for.

Info on the meeting is that it's on Saturday, August 22nd. I'm planning to have everyone meet up in Burnaby, possibly the BCIT parking lot (Unless someone has a better suggestion, then feel free to say).

CONFIRMED: Timothy, Tristan, Bobzor

POSSIBLY: Austin, Patrick

NOT ATTENDING: Nigel, Clynt, Beken, Bryan, Marcel

Alright guys, I have four maybes and two confirmed. It's less than a week to the event, I'd like to know if anyone from the maybe list can confirm, otherwise there wont be a run to attend. I can't really have three people tell me 24 hours in advance that everything is good to go, after I've pretty much cancelled the event for lack of attendance.

I don't know how to post to the club email, but so far (If it happens) I was planning to have us meet in the BCIT parking lot (It's nice and open that way) probably around 9am (Unless people wish to have it sooner or later).

Well the way things are shaping up, Lisa and I may be absent from the run.   Which really sucks, as if you have never made this drive with buddies in sports car, you don't know what you are missing, nice twisty roads, plenty of places to open it a bit, (err, uhm, plenty of places to safely pass slower traffic)

Port a Cove is cool, and that Waterfall we hiked up to last year was awesome.

This drive only happens once a year if we are lucky, so don't miss out, it really is fun.   Heck just chasing people up the cut going into North Van can be a real kick in the pants.

I would however really recommend, Radar Detectors,  FRS Radios and if you are extreme a small hand held CB as the Truckers usually announce where the cops are at.

Do either Tim or Bobzor have GPS, or do they know the way? I've never made this trek before, and I certainly don't know the route off by heart, so unless someone brings a GPS, we will be D.O.A.

Well, sorry I didn't post this last night, but I was extremely busy getting things ready, but with only two people, I think it was a safe bet just to cancel the whole thing.
