Just bought a Red Mercedes SLK, main use will be driving between UK and France.

Can't seem to post pictures even though its a jpeg and only 45kb?

any ideas? ##Edited by Graeme, it was the file name that was the problem, you needed to remove the apostrophe##

Actually, when I was looking for a car, I test drove an SLK. Personally, I felt all the electronics in it made the car handle and feel just like my Fiero.

Hey Nigel, are you going to install a 355 bumper on it with wide track plastic fenders?

Just did my first road trip in the SLK. GREAT, does feel like a Fiero.

Also got the Super 7 idea out of my system. Wow...I would have to lose 200lbs just to get into it and I weigh 260lbs. So....that also cuts out most of the club members anyway.

Still having problems posting any pictures to the forum. Checked that my files are jpeg's and not over 125kb.

I will post them to Capt Fiero when I get a couple more.

Very cool looking car.  I remember you saying you always wanted a convertible, congrats.  Now we need a pic of the engine.

Hey hey Nigey, Super 7's are absolutely awesome provided you don't need any sense of practicality what-so-ever (Creature comforts, trunk, weather-proofing...)

Oh....Patrick. Didn't you know that we have narrower roads in the UK...So the UK version of the SLK is thinner. Also....I am loosing weight because of this.
