Same as you Shaw Xtreme I would love for someone to do the test that has the Shaw Nitro which is 2.5 times faster than Xtreme. Note this test was performed with 6 other active computers running on our home network, as well as one web/ftp server. I could probably squeak another 500 or so kbps out of the test if I shut everything else down.

The only way to get faster is dump Telus and get cable broadband. Telus DSL is so far behind Shaw Cable its not even funny anymore.

I am going to have to shut down a bunch of stuff to see if I can get batter speed, but I re-did the test and got a bit better.

Did you upgrade to the Nitro or are you just getting really good connections with the standard high speed.

Shaw Extreme-I whatever. I want to upgrade to the Uber super duper ultra mega nawz speed... can't really rationalize it though.. $50 MORE than what we're paying for Extreme... It's just FASTER
The fact that our current speed is as fast as the old netwrok cards could flow is still pretty cool. I was getting 1.3Mb/s downloading from M$ the other day.

UPDATE. Trying again without anyone accessing the network, I got a record of 9ms ping, but my highest is
