Hi all,

I am researching to see if I can improve my steering ratio, way too many turns for the track or autox.

I found this thread and says there is a 16:1 ratio rack, would like to source this, as my luck I may be running the 22:1...lol

Thanks...Brian

Brian, the 16:1 ratio rack may be great for the track and/or autocross, but it might be necessary to work out at the gym in order to parallel park with it!

Let me know if you find anything, wouldn't mind looking into that myself eventually.

Oh gawd, I can only imagine your lane changes on the road down to Arlington with one of those racks!

I'd have been in the ditch.

Nah, I think that rack would be nice - Brian's right, the stock ratio is far too wide.

Hey Brian, there were only 2 racks available for the Fiero, and having driven yours, I can tell you that it is the correct rack for the WS6 Fiero's.  The only upgrade I have heard beyond the GT rack is the Corvette Rack, and you would want to talk to the guy on the island for details regrading that swap.

Brian, I'm not sure who Dave is referring to, but I met a fella from the Island a few weeks ago who's a pretty smart cookie when it comes to Fieros and their suspension etc. Look up http://www.westcoastfieros.com/forum/members.asp?SF=+Linlor&Submit=Search - Linlor here and send Don an email or PM. He might be able to offer some advice. (Don is the same fella who posted about the Trueleo Intake and Headers being available for sale.)

That guy's name here is Zac88GT. If you contact him, ask him how he enjoyed the Winter Olympics.

I had heard about the 'Vette rack. Is there any extra work needed to retrofit it to the Fieros?
