Now that my brain hurts slightly less (Thank you waitress) time for wrapping up.

With a modest Fiero count to begin with, things eventually picked up towards 6:15, eventually apexing at a grand total of 13 cars, and a number of Fiero individuals sans Fiero. Of special note among the Fieros was Tino & Dean's red notchie, and Harrison's (Who you may recognise at D-Sensitized) black, 3800 Series I-powered 88 GT.

Once things moved inside, chatting continued amongst members. Talks continued from everything from Hayubasa-powered Smart Cars to Porsche discussions. Eventually things got organized, starting with a recap of the Whistler run, which led to a Harrison Hot Springs discussion (Of which Brian is heading the effort for, although I'm sure he'd appreciate any help or suggestions). From there was an introduction to our new members and to Harrison (As this was his first outing in-person). Stickers were handed out of the WCF logo, and we spoke of the Lordco/NAPA discount cards. We also had a brief memorial service for the Dyno Day that never was.

Brian lead the next discussion, which involved all-things autocross, most notably of which is the upcoming Corvette-race, although the VCMCA and UBC Auto-X clubs were also touched upon. Don't forget to pre-register if you're hoping to get into the upcoming autocross on the 25th.

And with that finale, things drew to a close. Oh joyest of joys, Patrick was not in attendance to enjoy the company of Ms $20, who, as it turns out, is named Emily (You're welcome Pat). As we staggered outside, off went Harrison, David and I last to a rather uneventful drive home.

Ok Tristan's Wrap up letter which is always a great read will be along soon, but here are the pics to wet your whistle with.

Nice to finally meet Harrison (Desensitized) in his 3800 S/C 88GT as well as Tino and Dean in there 85GT V6 4spd car.  Tino's car (Red 85GT) is in the far left side of the gallery and Harrison's (Black 88GT) is on the far right of most of the gallery pics.

Now I don't want no bitching about photo size this month, they are all down to 640x480.   If someone wants a larger res shot of a pic, let me know and I can upload the full size images.

Well the one waitress did make a "Special coffee" for Kevin, she told me with a wink.

You should be happy to note your waitress is back.

Ok - now that you have my attention.  Was this the older waitress -(more my age) and more importantly ... Is she single?

BTW - the special coffee she made me was alcohol free.

Cheers

Yeah, but it sounds like there's more competition for Emily's attention now. I'll have to hit the bank machine and stock up on 20's before the next meeting.

I'll be sure to give her a heads up before hand. She seems like a sweetheart.

No, you want the older waitress. Emily is the cutie I have my eye on.

If I wasn't more than twice Emily's age and already attached, you and I would have to duel out in the Ricky's parking lot.

Emily is all yours.    Just find out if my special coffee lady is single.

Patrick - you just stay out of it.

Still working on it for you brother. She's out for now. Tomorrow I'll have your answer.

When did that happen? How did I miss the memo?

Heh heh, don't worry about me. The reason why I enjoy teasing the waitresses is that there's no pressure on me. I'm already happily attached to someone (have been for quite awhile and want to stay that way), and let's be honest here... I'm at least 30 years older than most of the waitresses who have served us at Ricky's. So unless one of those sweet young things was looking for a "daddy", I'm just some older guy in the restaurant who's pleasant to them (and who on the rare occasion "drops" a twenty onto the floor).

LOL!

I almost feel guilty about that now. She seems very sweet. You're an awful influence on me, Patty.
