I just had to take off the old pully on my burnt out alt and now have to install it on the new alt. Any one know what the torque sec is?

It was bloody tight...

Yeah, that's about the right torque spec.

That is a tapered shaft, so no need to get too crazy. I just use an
impact gun, but otherwise 60 foot pounds would probably be plenty.

Ok , didn't think it was tappered..

my old one that was in the car when I bought it in June & was suppose to be ralmost new, but all the vanes on the fan were broken off and the Bat connector insulator on the Alt was melted? There was nothing interfeering with the fan so I'm not sure what happened .

It's always a good idea to get the proper Bosh alternator made for
the Fiero or the heat shield won't go on. The exhaust is bloody close.
