Tis time to do some bushing replacement, I've already done a control arm bushing and ball joints on one side, but it's time to do the rest.

David suggests I put polly bushings, I'd used regular rubber previoiusly.

Apparently the kits are available from Mopac in Langley?

Anyone got 2 cents to say about it?  To go polly or rubber?

Currently I am working in an Automotive shop and can have the boys do the work when it's slow in the shop.  So figure I'd better buy the bushings and have them ready.  Front end is getting sloppy, control arm bushings are worn out.  So I'd better do it soon.  No fun around corners anymore.

I've got the Koni Specials 'Adjustable' shocks on all 4 corners.

I have my front end rack completely rebuilt ready to go (pulled from another car), and all poly kit from FS, all ball joints and tie rods.

You are just changing the bushings, if you have stock tie rods and ball joints, and say "sloppy" in the front, may be only the tie rods...now there is also the steering stabalizer on the rack to consider:)

If you changed everything like I will be doing, what has been suggested is to go poly on everything other than the control arms and see how it feels.  Now this depends on the condition of the rubber bushings, and may mean a 2nd alignment...but with your Koni's, it could be a tough ride...maybe too much...if not then go poly on the control arms.

PS: Added the read FS sway bar, HUGE improvement, and went all poly...love the corners now, and KYB's only for shocks...wish I went Koni

Yes, I've confirmed it's just the control arm bushings, I've already done the ball joints.  Yes the Koni's can be a bit stiff if you crank em up to full hard.  I use my car as my daily driver.  I don't want to have to wear a kidney belt to drive though.

I do want to do the job right and once.

Since I'm working in an automotive shop at the moment it's going to be easier to do the work.

It was suggested to get the poly kits from Mopac in Langley.

If it's gonna be to stiff, than I'll just put 'new' rubber, the rubber in there now is since 1986. (86 GT)

All comments on this are appreciated before I spend my nickles.
