Subject: 2014 NW Fiero Fest Registration Now Open
Greeting from Northwest Fierofest,
We are excited to announce the plans for the 15th Annual NW Fierofest. I
can’t believe this has gone on this long. We will again meet in Richland
Washington, this year on August 8-10. We have set a goal of having at least
40 cars registered this year. This is very doable but will take good
participation from all of the clubs and those not affiliated with a club. To
encourage participation we have come up with some incentives for 1st timers
plus if you haven’t been for a couple of years. See the details on the What’s
New in 2014 page on the website nwfierofest.com.
On Friday night we are moving the reception and registration from the suite
to the pool area. We are going to have a Hawaiian themed pool party from
5:00 to 8:00 so wear your Hawaiian clothes, grab some snacks and drinks, go
for a swim and cool off after the day’s drive. Registration will be there
starting about 6:00.
We have come up with 3 new awards this year to recognize car owners who
have put a lot of work into their cars, but are not recognized by our regular
judging criteria. First of all is an award for Best Lighting. This will be for the
best interior and or exterior lighting and will be judged on Friday night about
10:00pm in the back parking lot at the Shilo. The 2nd award is for Best
Sound system and the 3rd is for Best Engineering. Again, see additional
information on the What’s New page.
Another new event is a short optional winery tour that will take place on
Saturday afternoon starting about 2pm. There are 3 wineries that are very
close and within walking distance of each other, Tagaris, Bernard Griffin and
Bookwalter.
Our headquarters hotel is again the Shilo Inn. We have a block of rooms
reserved until July 8th. The price is the same as last year ($81), but you can
also reserve a single queen for $79. These rooms are smaller but we don’t
spend much time in them anyway. I am told a lot of the rooms facing the
back parking lot are these rooms. Go ahead and make your reservations now
by calling 509-946-4661 and be sure and tell them you are with Nothwest
Fiero Group. You will not have to pay until you check-out.
Registration for Fierofest is now open. Go to http://www.nwfierofest.com/
and get your cars registered. Register and pay by PayPal or by sending a
check to Brandi by July 8th and save $20. This information is on the
registration form.
I am looking forward to having a great time this year, renewing old
friendships and making new ones and seeing what everyone has been doing
to their cars. Hopefully we will have some new cars to check out. See you in
August.

We want to remind everyone that July 8th, next Tuesday,
is a very important date to remember. That is the last
day to register and take advantage of the early

please get registered so we can finalize our plans. It
really helps the organizers. You can register on-line at
www.nwfierofest.com and either pay through Pay Pal or by
sending a check to Brandi. While you are at the website
check out the things that are new this year.
Next Tuesday is also that last day to make your
