I am looking for a 180 kph speedo cluster with as low a km's on it as possible as the one for my car is dead (107,000kms) and I can only find one locally with 212,000. Anyone with one inbetween they would part with? If you happen to find one at a wrecker when your prowling around maybe I could get somone to grab one for me.
pm or email with what you have available.
Thanks

You do know you can change the mileage on the cluster fairly easily.  Once you have the Speedo out to change it, there is only one small clip to be removed, then you can reset it to anything you want and re-install.

Its only illegal if you change it to a lower number for the sole purpose of trying to defraud someone, and or do not disclose it as being changed at time of sale.

However before you make any changes to anything, make damn sure your mileage is not already tampered with.   Get lots of documentation, IE insurance records search and maybe even a carfax on the car.  If you ever sell the car, and the seller can prove the mileage has been changed, you can be liable for changes even if you thought you were setting it to what you thought was correct.

Thanks for that bit of info. I haven't looked at it close enough to have noticed.
I'll ran a search when I got my last one on the road to see what accident claims have been made on it and the report also comes up with # of owners and milages recorded.
