Well, it's done.
Anyone that really knows me, or has been to my place, has seen my S10 4*4 p/u (not to be confused with my S10 Blazer). I've owned it for 19 years now. Not quite new when I got it, but still pretty fresh at the time. Over the years it had served me well, but was REALLY starting to show the ravages of time. The box was rotted out, and the main cab mounts were rotting away to the point where you could lift the cab up off the frame at points! So, I had stolen a few parts here and there for my S10, JohnJohn's S10, and for various Fieros (yes, a lot of parts are interchangeable), and sold a bunch of bits off it. I only have paper photo's of when I first bought it all those years ago, but.... Here's one in it's happier days, and then... it's final moments. (last ever view) |

Wow, hard to believe it's the same vehicle. Yeah, it's tough to say "good-bye" to an old friend. I guess that's why I still have my '78 Z28 Camaro in the carport that I haven't driven for 12 years.
