At the club meeting my tires and exhaust were not the only things smoking. After the car had cooled down I was able to locate the source of the burning smell in the engine bay. A major section of the engine wiring harness had dropped down onto the exhaust manifold, looks like I will have to swing the cradle down to fix this. Well such is life, here is the source of the burning. It burnt through the wire loom and several of the wires.
