Hello,
What is the best way to remove the gunk that collects on the relays and the headlight cables connecting to said relays? I think I took care of the relays as much as possible, but with the cables the gunk is much harder to remove... Thanks! |

You're talking the goo that's around the pins?
It's tough stuff. I've had moderate luck with CRC brake clean. The red stuff is best. Do as much mechanical removal as you can first (ie, scrape like crazy!), then spray it in, and let it soak. Blow it out before it gets a chance to dry though. |

Yes, the goo-like substance that collects around the pins etc. Thanks for the help, I'll try to find that that cleaning solution in a car parts store.
