If you want to skip all the text and just check out all the photos, go here, http://www.captfiero.com/032708vacationpics

How bout Fiero at the Beach or Fiero on the Beach. These were all taken on FieroChick and I's recent trip down the Oregon Coast.   There is a place in Lincoln City that the road is paved right out to the hard packed area of the beach.    You are not suppose to drive right to the edge of the water but I was so tempted. If I was not worried about getting stuck, I probably would have taken it just close enough that the ocean would have touched the car.   Then raced it to a car wash to get rid of the salt water. LOL :)

Here is a pic of the 2 of us standing next to the Lewis and Clack (sp) Statue at the entrance to the beach. In behind there is a neat sign "Elevation 0 feet." Seaside is probably the coolest place you can go on the Oregon Coast.

We even ran into some snow in the pass. Was really kinda weird seeing it in April. Fortunately the Oregon Highways dept kept the roads totally clean.

This is the view from out hotel room, right on the beach, we loved it.

We even had a friend join us.

He thought it was a great party, and invited a few friends over. Special note, if you are going to feed one of your new friends be prepared that you might need to feed a few extra people.

Here is parked at the turn-around in Seaside.

We did not learn out lesson with the Seagulls, you can buy cut up fish and feed the Sea Lions. I think we ended up buying 3 trays of fish to feed them. I have video of it, but am going to need a MAC computer to edit it well.

Its hard to tell in the pic, but Lisa is holding up a piece of fish at the edge of the cage, and the Sea-Lion, jumped up and took it right from her fingers.

How bout a 28lb Lobster,

Here is me with my car, on the drive down the coast, we stopped to check out the view from the cliffs.

I will post more pics in a min

Ok onward with the photos.

This is in Depot Bay.

Lisa and I, one of only a few pics of both of us, when we could find another tourist person so take the pic of us.

This is back at Lincoln City, the water was clear as crystal. (aka Crystal Clear) I put my hand in it, and there it was like I was not even under water, it was ICE cold though. Don't worry Lisa's warm back got my hand warmed back up quickly. LOL, she did not like it so much though, hehe.

Lisa stopped and collected a bag of sand to take home.

On our way through Washington State, we came across a Military Convoy heading someplace. Was kinda neat to see all the Military trucks on the highway.

From Left to Right.

My Dad, my Grandmother, My Sister and my Grandfather.

Here is the Oregon City Waterfalls, during the flood of 96 it was completely gone, it was nothing more than a ripple in the river. Almost all of lower Oregon city was under water, they are bracing for that same type of flood this year due to a Massive snow pack that has built up on Mt. Hood.

There is over 175 pics in the link I posted above. We had an awesome time after I recovered from being sick. I had bronchitis a few days before we left, and was on antibiotics, which turned into pneumonia and then got a nasty flu bug on top of it. For the first 7 days we were gone, I was completely bed ridden. I could not even get the energy up to check my email. Which for me is like asking me not to breath. On the bright side, My Dad was having fun though, he was taking Lisa out to the bars, and shopping around the stores. He thought it was cool taking his new daughter out partying.

One last shot. Here is Lisa helping me put the new trailer together.

I have not yet taken pics of some of the stuff we picked up down there, but we brought back enough stuff that we actually NEEDED the trailer to haul it.
