We'd like to see it! Don't bother with Photobucket or any other photo hosting site when posting images here. Just upload your picture(s) directly to this server while posting. (It's the icon with the "Up" arrow beside the tree.)

I'll be doing the same thing to my '84 very soon. I want to get rid of the bush buggy look.

Here's a couple pics of the color before the clear. Sort of reminded me of 24K gold dust. Sure glad the clear coat changed that. I only wish the clear went on as nice and easy as the color. Cheers |

Excellent paint job. I am quite impressed. How did you
manage to paint her up for $400 if you don't mind my asking? |

Thanks. The costs I am referring to are the cost for the
paint and the clear coat material, including tack off cloth, painting coveralls, mixing/measuring containers. I had a $90 canadian tire spray gun and my friend had the hi volume (30 gal) compressor and garage (lucky for me ). Otherwise I spent a few days sanding and filling (You can never do enough sanding and filling!!) and I should have done much more but was overly excited to try it - and considering the hasty job I am very pleased with my first shoot. Otherwise the costs don't include my time (sanding and painted in one day) and cost of sand paper Cheers oh ya - and a bunch of tape (cheap) and paper was free. |
