Last post before    taking a hike...

Made a stand (from old IKEA desk) for the wing diffuser to sit on    makes it easy to slip the unit on and off without breaking the vertical fins

NEXT finish the exhaust tip and then the wing diffuser

This afternoon started exhaust tip box, I was going to farm it out to a professional (Dr.Fiero) but decided to do it myself
So here we go...
Cut out top and bottom panels

Welding baffles...

Crazy angled baffles to cover up round exhaust and to look insane

That's as far I got today just end panels left to cap tip box end

That was lots of fun to play with metal

We all know red means it goes faster.

BTW...is that green stuff growing inside your car, brains or mould?

Thanks (Mr.Freeze) Joe I'm having fun with her

Found the honeycomb mesh she wanted just like the Solstice...CLICK HERE

I'll be fabricating frames for the mesh

Black out clip panel just to visualize , lot more tweaking to make diffuser looking better
Photoshop mesh is not to scale, actual mesh will be smaller

The REAL DEAL

Backed up the mesh with black foam broad just to visualize    the photo came out grey, but it's actually black

We had nice weather couple of days ago had to enjoy it

My nephew and I where able to remove old suspension without snapping off any bolts, we where told not to use impact gun/
just use a longer pipe for more leverage    it was very slow, but it came off smooth

Replacing it with used 13" wilwood sport front suspenion (the suspension wan't driven much at all)

The new suspension went on very smooth, we got lucky

Here we are two amateur wrencher-ers celebrating job well done

Capt Fiero said to use lock tight, but it was to late    should I still put it on ?

Also I think we installed the shocks upside down/ should the valve be at top or bottom ?
