In case you missed it, those in the Maple Ridge/Pit Meadows side will have
to meet us at the Mission Bridge when we cross the Fraser from Abbotsford. You should have chimed in earlier if you wanted to meet up in Pitt Meadows. Those on the south side chimed in first so the route go set up as such. We leave Ricky's at noon so will likely be at Mission around 12:30? See you there. |

If for some reason you need Admin access, let me know.
And Patty, nothing has been reset. To my knowlege. The image upload limit has been 200k for a long time. Used to be 100k as a matter of fact. Dawg - sysop |

Sorry Damien, but I'm not imagining this. Changes have been made... by someone. The image upload limit had been raised to... I believe it was 400k, for quite awhile. Take a look at the images in This thread for example. If the limit had never gone beyond 200k, how can you explain that both Colby and I uploaded and posted images that are around 400k in size?

Well, I didn't do it. Only one other person could have and that would be
Graeme. Bandwidth reasons perhaps? Either way, 200k is plenty I think. I also checked the general file upload limit. It is 2mb, which is the maximium the software will allow. Dawg |

Hey Ken
Why did you reject the Dewdney Trunk route? I realize that, if we meet at Ricky's we will have to pay another toll, but if you stayed north of the Fraser there would be NO toll! This route takes you past the Stave Lake Dam which is quite beautiful this time of the year. Hopefully this link works. The image was too big too include on the form. https://www.dropbox.com/s/rvlytx2ez0wyj44/Screenshot%202013- 10- 26%2012.44.54.png |

For those of you who are going to take the northern route to Mission I would like to join you if you are taking the Dewdney Trunk route past Stave lake dam. https://www.dropbox.com/s/2zrvvedyu4jssqm/Screenshot%202013- 10-26%2017.15.11.png Dewdney Trunk route |

Hi Ken can you please give me a call in the morning on Sunday so we can head out at the same time. My phone number is 604-591-8154 and I will most likely be up any time after 5am.
Thanks Jim |

The night before our drive....I guess a couple of things I need to address..
I will be in Burnaby on Sunday morning. Hence the first meet-up point will be in Burnaby. McDonalds on Willingdon is an easy place to describe so that's where we're meeting. I had intended to take the northern route out, but a group chimed in first, to say they wanted to meet on the south side. Rickys where our meetings are held, everybody knows where it is so that is a good place to meet. So those who wanted me to take Dewdney Trunk road, you should have said something earlier. However, nobody is stopping you from taking that route and meeting us. I think a good place to meet would be at the Mission Hills Medical Clinic parking lot at the junction of the Lougheed Highway and the Cedar Valley Connector. That is where Dewdney Trunk Rd, The Mission Bridge highway and Lougheed Highway all come together. Leaving Rickey's a noon, we should be there around 12:45pm. I will be hungry by then but would like to get to Harrison as soon as possible. I will grab a light snack before starting and will probably munch on something along the way. We need to meet up with Joe and I don't want to keep him waiting too late. Also I need to get back in time to visit a friend who just had a baby. If anybody is going to meet us in Abbotsford, please chime in. I am considering taking Harris Road instead of highway 1 to the Mission Bridge. My cell# is 778-882-7761 for those needing to see where we are. See you Sunday... Edited by beken |

Great Drive. Thanks so much for getting this off the ground
Ken. We had a great run and lots of fun. Had one issue on the way back as my coil packed it in. Fortunately I carry a spare, Unfortunately I swapped out he distributor before I checked the coil. Always check the coil first (haha) Great weather, lots of sun and fun roads. |

Hi Ken, I know you had to leave at a certain time today. I didn't have a chance to say thanks for putting the drive together, it was great that Henry had a chance to show us a different route that made the trip even better. Too bad I didn't have my 85 out though.
I hope we can all get together and do more trips like this and possibly and Okanagan trip some time next year.. Jim ps forgot to say thanks to Glen for his support for Ken and getting the drive set up. |

Thanks to all who showed up. It was a great time. Thanks for taking the lead for a bit and showing us a scenic and twisty route, Henry. That was great. You should do it more often.
Sorry Maureen. We couldn't find you when this picture was taken. Yes, we will have to put another drive together soon. We do have a standing request for Dewdney Trunk Road and I have a few ideas to bounce off a group of drive organizers. Edited by beken |
