Hey guys, does anyone know of a low mileage LQ1 (3.4 Quad cam) or L67 engine for sale?

Hmmm. I have a LQ1 sitting in my basement in pieces...was going to build it, but now I think I probably won't.
I am very reasonable!! The only issue is that it's in Duncan on the island. $50 and it's yours. Chay |

Dangit, thats a heck of a deal. Bit too far though to be honest. Im gunna have to rent a uhaul truck to pick up any engine, and at $0.49/km + gas + ferry, id probably be better off finding something a little closer. Thanks anyways.

You might want to look at shipping...it may not actually be that much to hop the pond...
It's not going anywhere fast, so if you're over here...just about any car can take it given it's in pieces.

Considering the near give-away price to start with....
Contact a few freight companies. If you can get it all on a single pallet (they can be like 4-5ft high I think?) it would probably not be that much. You'll pay a bit extra at each end since you (probably) don't have a dock, and will need a power lift truck. |

I may look into that actually. Its gunna end up at my workplace regardless, and we have forklifts on site.

Hey Chay;
Decided to not do the 3.4 DOHC after all? The '88 front suspension is still in my storage as well.... along with an '88 rear engine cradle and suspension..... ![]() kawana; If you don't want Chay's motor, which is a great motor and was torn apart only to do a simple refresh, I have an '02 3.8 S/C series II that would need some refresh and a '97 3.4 DOHC fully together that has never been in a car. Mine are more expensive through at:
I also have full swap harnesses for both engines to go into a Fiero but those would be separate as I paid $400 each for the harnesses. Cheers Don |

Having lots of fun with the 3.4T at the moment. I don't want the engine to rot away while someone could be enjoying it.
I'm running out of room in my little car, and in a year or two plan to go to a turbo ls 'vette so I can pack my hockey gear and a couple of sets of golf clubs...may never happen though. Anyway, I'd rather it gets used rather than sitting in my basement. Chay |

Yeah, same way I feel about my engines Chay. They have sat long enough in my storage garage that they should be moved on to someone that can use them. I also have a Fiero frame stretched 3" with a LOT of stuff on it that I could move on as well but that is more expensive....
I hear you on the clubs. when I had my Porsche Boxster, I could get my clubs into the car but everything had to be taken out of the bag and the pull cart had to be taken apart and put in the front trunk. Lots of work whereas I just toss everything into the box with the truck..... ![]() Good luck on the Fiero work. Cheers Don |
