Na but the looks I got driving through fort Langley with it like was worth its weight in gold.   I just went really slow under low power lines and bridges.

Seriously though David, just for doing that, you're my hero.

Sounds like a fine challenge for a photoshop job.

Man, it's amazing how many times this thread has been completely and utterly de-railed. Drug-smuggling, weight issues, ladder jokes... We have the attention span of a six year old on Halloween. lol

This doesn't compare to the picture of David carting around a ladder in his Fiero, but nevertheless, I think my GT looked pretty weird last Saturday blasting down the freeway from Chilliwack to Vancouver with an exhaust system hanging out of the passenger window. It was a rather chilly drive home in sub-freezing temperatures!

Looking at my Fiero, some joker asked me if I had "the supercharged model".

lol. Beautiful.

I actually just shed about 0.2 ounces off of my Fiero last week-ish. My dad had neglected to inform me that he hadn't put ANY alcohol in the coolig system at all (It was pure water) so when I started it, crank and alternator spun, water pump did not (Frozen). This in turn heated up the belt and snapped it in all of about... 5 seconds. lol

Geez Tristan, I hope a belt is ALL you broke.

I ended up with a Fiero "parts car" a few years ago when I didn't check it's antifreeze level before winter arrived. Cracked block, cracked cooling tubes, etc.

WE lost at least one V6 Fastback Fiero last year, cracked the block and junked a really nice 87GT because there was just water in the block, destroyed the motor.

No, far as I can see there's still no misfires or anything severe, so I think the block/heads are OK. As far as the cooling system, I will have to check that when I come back again (Late December). I just couldn't believe he had never thought to throw in a little liquor for the amount of water he'd been pouring in (As he lost the coolant reservoir overflow cap, I also discovered). My poor Gretchin is going to need a day at a car spa when I get back.
